Every Saturday from May through October The Rochester Downtown Farmers Market welcomes you to its Summer location, in the parking lot across from Super America on 4th St SE, one block east of the Government Center in downtown Rochester, MN.
JOIN US FOR OPENING DAY 2008 ON MAY 3RD, FROM 7:30 AM UNTIL NOON. MUSIC BY THE WHOLE HOG MUSIC REVUE. MASTER GARDENER'S HOW-TO SESSION: ANNUALS, GEARED FOR KIDS. PIE-CUTTING CEREMONY AT 9 AM.
Our Market abounds with fresh, seasonal produce; bedding plants, annuals, perennials, & hanging baskets; a variety of locally raised meats, hand-crafted cheeses, artisan breads, scrumptious baked goods, jams & jellies, and salsas; berries, fruits, delicious pies, cut flowers & flower arrangements; honey; maple syrup; herbs; beautiful rugs, soaps, and candles made from farm-raised products; luscious melons; farm-fresh eggs; and more - all brought to you from farm to table by local growers who live and farm within a 50 mile radius of Rochester.
Throughout the summer months you'll be able to enjoy performances by local musicians, chef demos, special events, always friendly, helpful vendors, and seeing friends and neighbors who are happy to be in the outdoors again, experiencing our bustling Market. It's a great place to meet and mingle, and a unique opportunity to shop for fresh, healthy foods. We appreciate your continued support of our local growers!
